Policy Statement on Cancellation and Refund of Fees
Odyssians recognises that any individual’s circumstances can change at short notice and that this can impact upon their ability to participate in our activities. However, it is also to be understood that in planning and delivering effective activities programmes for our members, some costs are incurred or committed before the activity commences, consequently our cancellation and refunds policy is designed to reflect these commitments.
Odyssians will therefore commit to provide the following levels of fees refund to those unable to participate in our activities at short notice, based on the extent of prior notice given:
· Notice given more than 42 days prior to commencement of activity Full Refund
· Notice given more than 21 days prior to commencement of activity 40% of Fee
· Notice given within 21 days prior to commencement of activity No Refund
The refund of additional sums that may have been donated over and above the level of the basic fee will be discussed with the donor.
If participants are concerned about potential cancellation, they are advised to consider taking out holiday insurance.
